Longines has been the official timekeeper of the Commonwealth Games since 1962, and the HydroConquest 2026 Commonwealth Games Limited Edition is the brand's most vibrant celebration of that decades-long partnership yet. Reference L3.788.4.09.9 is the 42 mm version of this boldly designed Swiss automatic dive watch — a collector's piece that pairs serious technical credentials with a spectacular, games-inspired colorway that stands apart from anything else in the HydroConquest lineup.

The headliner is the gradient fumé dial, transitioning from vibrant turquoise at the center to deep black at the edges — the first time the new-generation HydroConquest has received the gradient treatment. The accent palette is pulled straight from the Glasgow 2026 logo: a violet "HydroConquest" inscription at six o'clock and a hot pink tip on the seconds hand. The black ceramic bezel insert echoes the dial with matching turquoise numerals, and a luminous pearl sits inside the bezel triangle at twelve.

Rhodium-plated applied indices and hands are treated with Super-LumiNova for legibility in low-light conditions, and the date window is outlined in white at 3 o'clock. The brushed stainless steel case measures 42 mm in diameter and just 11.7 mm in thickness, with a screw-down crown, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and 300 metres of water resistance.

At the heart of the watch beats the Longines-exclusive Calibre L888.5 — an automatic movement running at 25,200 vph with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring and an impressive 72-hour power reserve, offering exceptional resistance to magnetism far exceeding ISO standards. The watch is completed with a tapered black rubber strap and a premium stainless steel folding deployant clasp with micro-adjustment. 

The caseback is engraved with the official Glasgow 2026 logo and a "One of 2026" limited edition inscription — a meaningful detail for collectors.
